An Agape Meal at Holy Trinity
6:00 PM in the Parish Hall
Sign up in the Narthex, Email, or Online!

An agape meal, or "love meal," is a short service, meal and time of fellowship to remind us of the last meal that Jesus shared with his disciples. Not a feast but still a celebration, an agape meal is typically a light meal of dried fruits, bread, cheese, and wine.

Everyone is invited. Free of charge; a free will offering will be taken during the dinner. Please sign up ahead of time in the church narthex, or email Ben Maddison with your RSVP (rector@holytrinitywenonah.org).

What is an agape meal? (From the Episcopal Church Website)

Agape means Selfless Christian love. Agape reflects the love of God, and it is the kind of love that Christians are called to share with one another. The term is also used for a common meal or "Love Feast" of the early church, from which the Eucharist developed as a separate rite.
